Jeff VanderWal is a founder of Wolds VanderWal PC and a shareholder in the firm. His practice focuses on providing advice on ERISA benefit plans administration and operations, fiduciary compliance matters, labor and employment law, including wage and hour issues, and trade secret and confidentiality matters. In addition, Jeff represents clients in employment discrimination and wrongful discharge claims and investigations in federal and state courts and before the DFEH and EEOC. He also works with clients on prevailing wage compliance, including annualization of contributions, and apprenticeship and training issues.

Jeff assists clients with responding to and complying with Department of Labor audits and recommendations relating to employee benefit plans. He also advises benefit plans and employers on compliance with COBRA, HIPAA, and the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
